THE TECHNIQUE

Fire-wood collection of unique wood fired panels.

The special carbonization technique Shou Sugi Ban 焼 杉 板 is inspired by the Japanese tradition.

 

The panels are fired in special ovens, thanks to which they obtain a unique charred surface, which is visible in the colour and texture of the wood.

 

All types of treated wood have their own

structure and use.

Shou Sugi Ban 焼 杉 板, known for 700 years, which consists in the preservation of wood by means of fire. Natural wood has an unusual richness of colours and patterns, and the appropriate technique of firing Shou Sugi Ban 焼 杉 板 allows us to extract them.
