MATERIAL & DESIGN
They panels are made from the most recognizable outer-layer of the tree.
The bark of birch, cherry, pine, and poplar trees is carefully removed after the tree is harvested as part of the Appalachian forest re-growth project. That outer layer is then handcrafted to exacting specifications using regenerative-manufacturing practices, and wall panels are made to the requested sizes for easy installation.

What is bark siding?
Poplar Bark Siding is crafted from the peeled bark of Tulip Poplar Trees (Liriodendron tulipifera).
The bark, which is historically a waste product in lumber operations, is harvested to become exterior siding (or interior wall tiles) before the logs reach the mill.
The bark is squared, kiln-dried
and quality assured.
Poplar bark is the only tree bark that is rigid enough to endure the rigors of exterior application.
