NATURAL MATERIALS

MARBLE
Marble is formed through a metamorphic process from sedimentary rocks, such as limestone or dolomite, which causes a complete recrystallization of the carbonate of
calcium of which they are mainly composed and give rise to a mosaic of calcite or dolomite (mineral) crystals. The combined action of temperature and pressure,
during the transformation of the sedimentary rock into marble, it leads to the progressive obliteration of the structures and textures originally present in the rock, with the consequent destruction of any fossil, stratification or other sedimentary structure present in the original rock.
The color of the marble depends on the presence of mineral impurities, existing in granules or in layers inside the rock original sedimentary. During the metamorphic process these impurities are displaced and recrystallized due to pressure and heat.

The white marbles are outcome of the metamorphisation of limestone free of impurities.

QUARTZITE
Quartzite is a type of metamorphic rock composed predominantly of quartz. It derives from the dismantling and subsequent metamorphic passage of quartzarenite.
The most colorless, transparent and glassy varieties are composed almost exclusively of quartz.
Due to it's excellent mechanical properties and resistance to atmospheric agents, it's used in
building; used for it's high silica content as a raw material in the refractory and ceramic industry, as well as in the glass production industry.

TRAVERTINE
Travertine is a limestone sedimentary rock of
chemical type, widely used in construction, in particular in Rome, since the first millennium BC.

The difference between the deposit
calcareous spongy type and the travertine bank is given
substantially from the geological conformation of the
formation soil: limestone is one of the most deposits
frequent in nature, being produced by precipitation
of calcium carbonate dissolved in the water.

PRODUCT ADVANTAGES

Quality materials

Materials consisting of a natural stone veneer or a processed amalgam of the same, arranged on fiberglass or textile fiber supports, depending on the type of sediment.

Lightness & flexibility

All materials have a thickness of about 2mm,

are flexible and have a very low specific weight, about 2kg /m2.

Application

The materials can be applied on any surface (smooth, dry and clean) such as: thermal insulation system, plasterboard, wood, metal, fiber cement, ceramic, marble, aluminum, etc.

Fields of use

Outdoor and indoor coverings (ex: facades, walls, columns, pillars, fireplaces, bathrooms, showers), floor, furnishing (ex: doors, furniture) and more.
